I have been wokring on creating a website dedicated to the NSU Supermax. It's been coming along with more info added all the time. One important thing I'm adding is manuals for the NSU Supermax. I have already posted an
NSU SUPERMAX Owner's Manual and will be adding more soon.

I purchased a 1958
NSU SuperMax from my best friend's dad. This will be quite the
undertaking to get to run. It is in overall great shape, but the
engine is seized. I have been doing a lot of research in an attempt
to locate parts for this beautiful machine, without much luck. I
have all of the original parts, including the original tool kit, but
am missing the key to the storage boxes. If I can get my NSU
running, I will be able to tell the story
all car and motorcycle collectors dream of
telling... "I found it in a shed where it
had sat for years in almost new condition,
and paid next to nothing for it."
The first two pictures below were
taken recently. I have yet to attach the two boxes that hold the
battery and the tool kit. Mainly because they need the key, which I
don't have. BUMMER!! I haven't quite figured out what to do about
The next two pictures are of where it sat for over 20 years. I
remember sitting on the NSU when I was a kid and dreaming of running
it down the road... SOMEday I will realize that dream!
I've been getting quite a few emails from people that know about
NSUs. I'm thinking of forming an American NSU message board /
informational site. I know, there are already a few out there,
but they cost money. My site would be funded by people's
willingness to contribute. If you think this might be
something you would like to see, please let me know. I would
also appreciate any volunteers to help maintain it! If I
receive enough response, I'll have a site up and running by the end
of the summer.
