This page has a few pics from drill.  I was a member of the Kansas Army National Guard for 9 years  I learned a lot from my time in the Army, and have made very good friends.  I am proud to have served my country during this time of conflict.

Above is me in my class A's.  Pretty sharp huh?  ;-)

This is me and my favorite Hummer.  This thing has gotten me and everyone in my Battery through things we could hardly walk across.  It's a champ for sure!

This is my old track.  It was an M577A2 armored personnel carrier.  That's me in the driver's seat and my TC Cpt. Z on top.  It was replaced my an M1068 last year.  I liked my old track because it never really broke down.  I was very lucky there (or maybe very diligent in my maintenance, you decide)  My new track is sand colored and has a turbo diesel so it's much faster and a lot more fun to drive.  It also has the newest field artillery fire direction computer on board.

These are a few of the guys in my battery.  I think only one of these guys is still in the unit.  Others have retired or transferred.  It's a great group, that I'd be happy to go to battle with.

This is a kind of pretty view from the time we went to Colorado for our annual training.  I had a great time there and really enjoyed driving my track, and the Hummer around the front range of the Rockies.

Have an opinion? Drop me a line.
